Coated with rapeseed oil and seasoned simply with sugar and salt, Momoya's chilli pepper paste selects Japanese pepper from Wakayama and Yuzu from Kochi as the main ingredients. With less amount of chilli pepper than other Shichimi pepper you can find in the market, Momoya combines the subtle numbing spiciness from Shichimi chilli pepper and the outstanding aroma from Sansho, along with the citrusy fragrance from Yuzu peels, all blended harmoniously in this small jar.
Suitable to use as the usual Shichimi pepper mix on noodles, nabe hotpots, rice dishes, soup dishes, yakitori, but also ideal to add on starters such as cold tofu.
